Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Direct agricultural crops clipping activities . Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Organize greenhouse and nursery operations. Supervise staff in shoots positioning and seed cutting. Determine type and quantity of stock to grow. Develop marketing plans. Establish and maintain required environment. Establish work schedules. Order materials and stock. Provide product care and other information and service to customers. Supervise staff in planting, transplanting, feeding and spraying. Supervision: 5-10 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Organized. Team player.
