Crawford Packaging is seeking an enthusiastic *Packaging Specialist (Sales Representative) *in the Brampton or Mississauga area to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your exceptional communication skills and strategic mindset to build lasting relationships with clients, drive sales growth, and expand our market presence. _*Responsibilities*_
* *Prospecting and Networking: *Identify and target potential customers through networking events, industry conferences, and cold calling.
* *Relationship Building and Negotiation: *Cultivate strong customer relationships, understand their needs, present product demonstrations, negotiate contracts, and secure profitable deals.
* *Market Intelligence and Sales Reporting: *Gather market insights on industry trends and competitors, prepare sales reports, and provide updates on forecasts and activities.
* *Lead Generation and Sales Presentations:* Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media; conduct sales presentations via phone, video conferencing, or online platforms.
* *Customer Engagement and Follow-up: *Build and maintain relationships with customers through regular communication, understanding their needs, providing solutions, and following up to ensure satisfaction and explore additional sales opportunities.
* *Quoting, Pricing, and CRM Management: *Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, maintain accurate customer records in a CRM system, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize sales opportunities.
* Additional Duties as required by Manager
_*Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:*_
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably with knowledge of packaging and distribution, and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office. They possess exceptional customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities. A proactive approach, effective organizational and time management skills, and a commitment to personal and professional growth are essential. The candidate should be proficient in data analysis and comfortable navigating a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
