Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Noisy. Odours. Confined spaces. Dusty. All weather conditions. Work setting: Maintenance. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Service. Repair. Overhaul. Tasks: Assemble mechanical equipment. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Operate machining tools to fabricate parts. Installing machinery and equipment. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated and robotic system. Conveyor. Electrical and electronic controls. Hydraulic system. Industrial and stationary engine. Lathes and other machining tools. Pneumatic system. Power tools. Tool grinders. Forklift. Hand tools. Area of specialization: Start-up and testing.
