POSITION: Intermediate Teacher - temporary <p> ASSIGNMENT: Intermediate (Gr 4-7) <p> FTE: 1.0 <p> LOCATION: Bouchie Lake Elementary School <p> EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2024 until October 16, 2024, or earlier depending on the return of the incumbent, with the possibility of extension and/or reduction in FTE. <p> Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following: <p> Training Specialization: Elementary Education with specialization at the intermediate level <p> Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching at the intermediate level <p> A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff. <p> Additional Qualifications: Not required for this posting <p> Other: <p><p> Willingness to support the school plan for Student Success. <p> Willingness to work as part of the school based team to implement plans for struggling students. <p> Commitment to working as part of a team in the development and implementation of the School Growth Plan and Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement. <p><p> <p>The starting annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109,520 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
