*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies and procedures. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial department and requires a strong understanding of accounting principles.
*Responsibilities*
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks.
* Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
* Manage accounts receivable by processing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
* Handle accounts payable by processing bills, preparing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
* Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately reflected in the financial statements.
* Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and reports.
* Prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
* Collaborate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and support.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage or QuickBooks.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, including account analysis, budgeting, and bank reconciliation.
* Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
* Good communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.

*Qualifications*
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
* Knowledge of Sage BusinessVision is a huge plus or experience in QuickBooks, XERO, Zoho, Fresh Books, or other accounting software.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to analyze financial data and perform bank reconciliations efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
