*Job Summary* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baseball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baseball, along with the ability to educate and inspire players of all skill levels. This position requires a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth among athletes. Coaches prepare and train individual athletes or teams for competitive events. They are employed by national and provincial sports organizations, professional and amateur sports teams, sports clubs and universities or they may be self-employed. This unit group also includes sports scouts who identify and recruit athletes for professional sports teams. They are employed by professional sports organizations. *Responsibilities* * Develop and implement training programs that enhance players' skills and understanding of the game. * Coordinate competitive programs * Conduct regular practice sessions focusing on fundamental techniques, strategies, and teamwork. * Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filling systems. * Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. * Organize and manage team activities, including games, tournaments, and community events. * Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff to ensure alignment on goals and expectations. * Promote a culture of respect, discipline, and sportsmanship within the team. * Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and baseball trends to continuously improve coaching methods. * Conduct research to expand knowledge of the field * Coaching * Participate in coaching clinic instruction. *Languages :*English *Education:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience *Experience: * 5 years or more in professional training *Requirements* * Previous experience playing or coaching baseball at a competitive level is preferred. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and educate players. * Good communication skills to effectively interact with players, parents, and staff. * A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all participants regardless of skill level. * First aid/CPR certification is desirable but not mandatory. *Work setting* Professional sports organization Urban area Baseball International sports organization Staff accommodation available Room and board provided Regional sports club National level *Additional information* *Security and safety:* Driver's validity licence check Criminal record check Child Abuse Registry check Medical exam Drug test Eligible for professional liability insurance *Transportation/travel information* Valid driver's licence Own vehicle *Work conditions and physical capabilities* Attention to detail Hand-eye co-ordination Combination of sitting, standing, walking Standing for extended periods *Personal suitability* Leadership Accurate Effcient interpersonal skills Flexibility Initiative Interpersonal awareness Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Values and ethics *Benefits* Health benefits Paramedical services coverage *Financial benefits* Group insurance bene0ts *Other benefits* Free parking available On-site housing options Team building opportunities.
