<p>Hello, I'm Julie Baptista, a recruitment specialist for temporary and permanent positions in engineering, technology, and manufacturing at Fed Manutech. <br>We are experts and speak your language. <br>We are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and every step of your career.</p><p>I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in the manufacturing industry, located on Montreal, for an Industrial Engineer - Day Shift, 40 hours/week.</p><p>Your Role <br><br>Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the following tasks: <br> <br>* Analyze and improve the reliability of equipment and production processes. <br>* Implement continuous improvement projects to optimize productivity and quality. <br>* Diagnose recurring breakdowns and propose solutions to eliminate root causes. <br>* Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to develop preventive maintenance plans. <br>* Train and raise awareness among teams on best practices in reliability and continuous improvement. <br>* Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the actions taken. <br>* Stay updated on technological advancements to integrate new maintenance and continuous improvement technologies. <br>* Other related tasks.</p><p>Your Professional Skills <br> <br>* Excellent verbal and written communication <br>* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills <br>* Teamwork orientation <br>* In-depth knowledge of reliability and continuous improvement methods (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma) <br>* Proficiency in computer-assisted maintenance management systems (CMMS) <br> <br>Our ideal candidate is meticulous, methodical, and detail-oriented. They can work closely with production teams to ensure equipment reliability and continuous process improvement. This is a proactive individual who enjoys being on the floor, analyzing situations, and implementing lasting solutions. <br> <br>Your Profile <br> <br>* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role <br>* Bachelor's in mechanical or industrial engineering, or any relevant field <br>* Experience in a manufacturing environment, a significant asset <br>* Knowledge of English, an asset <br> <br>The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons: <br>Communication with international customers<br>Working with English-speaking partners<br>Drafting documents in English<br>Salary <br> <br>$80K to $110K depending on experience <br> <br>Benefits <br> <br>* 5% bonus depending on results <br>* Vacation policy: 3 or 4weeks of paid leave <br>* Defined contribution pension plan <br>* Group insurance: flexible insurance plan.
