I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. Our team, experts in these fields, speak your language and work in your world.</p><p><br>We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for a company specialized in special parts design and sheet metal transformation located in Repentigny, France. The position is available immediately. Position 40 hours/week - Hybrid.</p><p>Your duties :<br> <br>Reporting to the Head of Engineering (R&D department), you will be responsible for the following tasks : <br> <br>- Design and develop sketches of metal parts based on customer requirements <br>- Develop 3D prototype models for internal and customer presentation <br>- Collaborate with procurement teams, suppliers, participate in the choice of materials <br>- Keep abreast of market trends, gather information to make the best choices in the development of new parts, reduce costs and simplify processes. <br>- Other related tasks</p><p>Your professional skills : <br> <br>- Knowledge of CAD software - SolidWorks, Inventor <br>- Knowledge of illustration software (Illustrator, Photoshop) - Optional <br>- Attention to detail, application <br>- Creativity <br> <br>Your profile : <br> <br>- At least 4 to 5 years' experience in mechanical design <br>- Ideally, experience in designing parts based on metal bending, drilling, etc. <br>- DEC or similar diploma in mechanical engineering or industrial drafting, design <br>- Salary: $80k - $100k depending on experience <br>- Hybrid position, full insurance, bonus, paid vacation negotiable according to experience <br>- Company in full development, opportunity for advancement possible</p>- LocationRepentigny, QC
