We are committed to providing a secure working environment.</li><li>Diverse Projects: From grain bins to custom builds, every day brings new challenges and opportunities to showcase your expertise.</li><li>Room to Grow: Grow personally and professionally with training and advancement opportunities.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Construction and Service: Strong record of on-site construction and service capability.</li><li>Mechanical Expertise: Solid understanding of mechanical material handling equipment.</li><li>Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.</li><li>Welding Oversight: Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using various welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, PAW, SMAW, OAW).</li><li>Fabrication: Assemble, fit, and weld metal sections and plates to create complete projects.</li><li>Quality Control: Monitor the quality of on-site fabrication and production.</li><li>Safety Compliance: Always maintain safe work practices and compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.</li><li>On-Site Repairs: Conduct on-site repairs, modifications, and retrofits.</li><li>Customer Coordination: Effectively communicate with customers to determine solutions for on-site mechanical issues.</li><li>Technology and Compliance: Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.</li><li>Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support project completion.</li></ul><p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p><ul><li>Certification / Training: Millwright certification required.</li><li>Additional Credentials: Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright or CWB tickets would be an asset.</li><li>Additional Certification / Training: Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platforms, WHMIS, or willingness and ability to acquire.</li><li>Welding Experience: Experience as a Journeyman Welder/Fitter</li><li>Maintenance Operations: Experience with routine maintenance operations.</li><li>Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, welding, and fabrication skills with a keen eye for detail.</li><li>Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.</li><li>Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required for various projects.</li><li>Driver's Licence: A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.</li><li>Skills: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work well under pressure.</li><li>People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Computer Literacy: Basic comput- LocationKitchener, ON
