*The Opportunity:*
We?re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented *Estimating Administrator* to join our team and support our Estimators in preparing budgets, estimates, and managing the overall estimating process. *What You?ll Do:*
* *Documentation Control:* Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation, including contracts, estimates, change orders, and other relevant documents related to the estimating process.
* *Estimating Support:* Assist Estimators with preparing and compiling tender submissions, sending tender invitations and following up.
* *Communication:* Facilitate clear communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all estimating-related documentation and processes.
* *Administrative Support:* Organize and schedule site visits, meetings, and other relevant appointments for Estimators, ensuring smooth coordination across projects.
* *Risk Assessment Assistance:* Support the Estimating Team in performing risk assessments for each estimate by organizing and compiling relevant documents and ensuring that all necessary strategies are documented.
* *Team Collaboration:* Provide ongoing support to Estimators who are managing the estimating process, including assisting with budgeting, reporting, and preliminary scheduling for projects.
*Qualifications:*
* A post-secondary education in business administration, construction management, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
* Previous experience in an administrative role within construction or project management is an asset.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with experience in construction or estimating software such as Procore and SmartBid considered an asset.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
* Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset but not required.
