*Highland Packers Ltd.* *We have been producing fresh high-quality meat products for over 60 years. Delivering all around the Niagara, Hamilton, and Toronto regions.* We are currently looking for permanent full-time employees (this opportunity is not suitable for students) available to work Monday through Saturday with a 3am start time to 12pm (9 hours) within our bakery department. *We are not on a bus route, you will need to have your own transportation.* _*Why work for Highland Packers:*_ * Weekly pay deposited into your bank * Competitive wages (Starting @$17.20 an hour) - raise reviews every 4 months for first 2 years * Benefits after 3 months service * Discount card for store & cafe after 3 months service * Pension after 2 years of service * Day Shift (NO SUNDAYS) 9 hour shifts - 3AM start to 12pm - must be available for this specific shift and be available Monday to Saturday. Second day scheduled off work will be either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday * Stable full time hours * Training will be provided _*Responsibilities:*_ Job Summary Working in the bakery. * Serving customers * Using baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, proffers and labelling * Setting up display case * Keeping area clean * Cake decorating _*Work Conditions and Environment:*_ * Physically Demanding * Fast-paced environment * Repetitive tasks * Heavy lifting * Standing for extended periods _· Doing tasks according to company health and safety procedures_ _*Essential Abilities:*_ * Strong customer service * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines * Commitment to safety and quality processes * Attention to detail * Works well with others * Critical thinking skills * Excellent hand-eye coordination * Basic English communication skills _*Preferred Abilities:*_ Baking, Cake Decorating and counter display *MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION NOT ON BUS ROUTE AND BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN CANADA* *NOT SUITABLE FOR STUDENTS* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $17.20 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * RRSP match * Store discount Schedule: * Day shift Application question(s): * Are you available to work the required shift 3am-12pm Monday to Saturday?
