<p>Now recruiting for the 2024-2025 School Year <p> Early Childhood Educators for daily casual work across all schools in BGCDSB<p><p>Short and Long-term contracts may be available for application once accepted to our ECE List<p>Duties:<p>Reporting to the Principal, the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) will partner with the classroom teacher to plan and implement a full day Catholic early learning program. The ECE will provide supervision and age-appropriate programming, and will collaborate in the design of program, which will enhance children's cognitive, physical, emotional and spiritual development.<p>Qualifications/Requirements:<p><p> Completion of a post-secondary education program in Early Childhood Education (or in progress);<p> Registered member, in good standing, with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators;<p> Recent experience as an ECE working in an Early Learning Centre or Daycare;<p> Experience planning and implementing age appropriate programs;<p> Knowledge of the Ministry of Education Early Learning Program, including the Extended Day Program and related legislation;<p> Ability to communicate effectively in a sensitive and courteous manner with children, parents, staff and the general public;<p> Proven commitment to maintaining confidentiality;<p> Ability to deal with difficult situations and to take appropriate action in stressful and/or emergency situations, according to policies and procedures;<p> Basic computer skills, strong organization and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines;<p> Ability to work effectively in a team environment;<p> A vulnerable sector check valid within 6 months from date of hire is a condition of hire with the Board.<p><p> <p>We thank you for your interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.<p>Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
