*Job Summary* We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. *Responsibilities* - Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits - Process transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system - Utilize effective upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor - *Experience* - Prior experience in retail sales is preferred but not required - Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer inquiries and concerns - Proficient in using basic math skills for cash handling - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Fluency in English is required - Knowledge of phone etiquette and communication skills is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Designated paid holidays * On-site parking * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Shift: * 8 hour shift Work days: * Every Weekend * Monday to Friday Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * sales: 1 year (required) * Customer service: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-01- LocationSaskatoon, SK
