<span><p><b>Job Details:</b><br> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Location: 325 Humber College Blvd</b></p> <p> </p> <p><b>Scheduled Shift: </b>Sunday to Thursday 7:00AM - 3:30PM</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Working Hours: 40 Hours</b></p> <div><div><div><strong>Description</strong> </div><div><p>The Non-Licensed Tradesperson (Apprentice) <span><span><span>you will support in the </span></span></span><span><span><span><span>installation, maintenance, repair, and dismantling of machineries in </span></span></span></span><span><span><span>Purolator's National Hub terminal.</span></span></span></p> </div></div><div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </div><div><ul> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Performing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of Parcel Sortation Systems and their associated components.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Provide accurate and timely written reports of safety, operational, and maintenance activities.</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Performing non-structural welding work</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>General cleanup of work areas</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>All other duties as assigned</span></span></span></span></span></li> </ul> </div></div><div><div><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong> </div><div></div></div><div><div><strong>Education</strong> </div><div><ul> <li><span><span><span><span>Proven Mechanical knowledge, with minimum 2 years' experience in maintaining material handling equipment or industrial machinery. </span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Enrolled in Apprenticeship Program as a 1st or 2nd year apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario or the Ministry of training, College, and Universities.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Enrolled in 1st and 2nd year Millwrights techniques course as well.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Must pass a Written and Practical Test to be considered. Must be eligible to register as a millwright apprentice with Ministry labour and skill development.</span></span></span></span></li> </ul> </div></div><div><div><strong>Experience</strong> </div><div><ul> <li><span><span><span><span>Mechanical troubleshooting skills including but not limited to belts, bearings, pulleys, drives, and gear-motors.</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Adhere to all safety regulations and safe work practices.</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and leadership.</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Excellent written and oral communications skills.</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Welding, fitting, and or machine shop experience is an asset.</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Physical requirements include but are not limited to:<br> Lifting (50 to 70 pounds), bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing to complete the job duties.</span></span></span></span></li> </ul> </div></div></div><p><b>POSTING DETAILS</b><br> <b>Location:</b> 576-NHO<br> <b>Working Conditions:</b> Warehouse </p> <p>Posting Number: 65713</p> <p><b>Reports to: </b> Maintenance Supervisor<br> ---</p> <p><em>We are aware of a fraudulent website that appears to mimic the Purolator careers page.
