Come and join a team of innovative engineers, scientists and technicians committed to changing the world of industry and taking concrete action for the environment.</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>What will your objectives be?</b></p><p>The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the mechanical design of gas treatment equipment for biogas recovery and industrial gas purification. Project experience is also desirable: the engineer may be called upon to supervise the mechanical manufacture of equipment, both in-house and at subcontractors, as well as the assembly of equipment at customer sites.<b></b></p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>What will your responsibilities be?</b></p><ul><li>Mechanical engineering design of process equipment including detailed design of pressure vessels and process piping</li><li>Mechanical strength calculation of pressure vessels and piping systems according to ASME and CSA codes</li><li>Support structure calculation for vessels and skids</li><li>Preparation of MTO (Material Take-off) and TPS (Technical Purchase Specification) for procurement of materials</li><li>Preparing detailed General arrangement drawing, fabrication drawing and layouts using Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works or CADWorx</li><li>3D modeling of equipment and plants</li><li>Assist to the sales team for the preliminary weight estimation and layout drawing</li><li>Technical clarification and discussion with customers/vendors.</li><li>Follow up on procurement and fabrication of equipment (internal and external)</li><li>Identify and supervise external consultants as required</li><li>Supervise and organize system installation and start-up</li><li>Supervise, as required, the work of subcontractors during system installation</li><li>Interact directly with the clients: meetings, documentation</li><li>Perform other duties as required by the immediate supervisor and for which the person is qualified<b> </b></li></ul><p><b></b></p><p><b>The required profile</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor?s degree in engineering</li><li>Member of the OIQ- Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is mandatory</li><li>Demonstrated leadership/managerial ability combined with personal humility, with strong references</li><li>Expertise with design and mechanical strength calculation of pressure vessels</li><li>Proficient with 2D Drafting, 3D modeling, drawing review and checking</li><li>Expertise with a 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works or CADWorx will be an asset</li><li>Organized individual who is also a team player able to deliver projects on time and under pressure</li><li>Willing to travel to overseas as required</li><li>Knowledge of French and English (written and spoken) is an asset</li><li>As successful candidate with at least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer</li><li>Relevant experience (minimum 2 years) in pressure vessel design, calculations and modeling</li><li>Experience in petrochemical sector an asset</li><li>Experience in gas emission system design, process gas and biogas purification and upgrading equipment design is an asset</li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>We?re offering you</b></p><ul><li>Generous medical and dental insurance plan</li><li>Training
