This position requires flexibility to work in our Port Coquitlam location. *WHAT?S THE JOB ABOUT?* Reporting to the Production Manager, the Welder position is responsible to weld and fabricate our products, if required, in a productive and cost effective way. Some of the work you will do, but not limited to: * Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project * Sourcing and measuring the materials to be used in the project * Welding materials using the correct equipment and method based on the specifications * Checking finished work to make sure that it meets the quality standards and requirements * Other duties as assigned *WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS:* * Minimum 1 year of welding experience * Strong communication skills ? both verbal and written * Strong problem solving skills * Excellent attention to detail * Strong organizational and time management skills _We thank all applicants for their interest in employment with Upper Canada Specialty Hardware Ltd.
