*Job Description*: We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to assist with towing trailers and unloading equipment for our operations. This role is perfect for an individual looking to be active and engaged, while enjoying flexible hours and a fun work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with towing and handling a variety of trailers, as well as the physical ability to assist with loading and unloading equipment. *Key Responsibilities*: * Safely tow trailers of various sizes (16-23') to different job sites or locations. * Assist and perform the loading and unloading of equipment from the trailer. * Ensure proper securement of loads before transport. * Perform routine checks on vehicles and trailers to ensure they are in good working condition (e.g., tire pressure, lights, etc.). * Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines during transportation. * Communicate with team members to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and trailers. *Qualifications*: * Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record. * Experience with towing trailers of different sizes (experience towing boats, equipment trailers, not to exceed 2800kg or 6000lbs). * Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs). * Basic knowledge of vehicle and trailer maintenance is an advantage. * Flexibility to work part-time hours, including occasional weekends or evenings, as needed. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. *Benefits*: * Flexible part-time hours. * Competitive hourly pay. * A relaxed and friendly work environment If you?re a responsible driver with towing experience and are looking for a way to stay active, we?d love to hear from you! _*To Apply: Please submit your resume to hr@markhammower.com *_ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.66-$25.54 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Driving: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Class G Licence (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-01- LocationMarkham, ON
