*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A background in glazing or construction is advantageous. *Responsibilities* * Complete tasks assigned by project managers/ team leaders. * Install glass panels in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications. * Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions using appropriate tools. * Repair or replace broken glass in existing installations. * Apply caulking to seal joints and prevent leaks. * Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion. * Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. * Adhere to safety protocols while on the job site. * Conduct hazard assessments and implement safety controls where necessary. * install all window framing materials according to specifications. * Ensure work it completed to the highest standard of quality. * Adhere to project schedule and deadlines. *Skills* * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to glazing work. * Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. * Experience with curtainwall and aluminum framing installation. * Knowledge of construction standard practices. * Experience operating equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts. * implementation of Safe work practices and procedures. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. *Requirements:* * Must be able to collaborate and work with others, as well as independently. * Must provide own hand tools. * Strong knowledge of curtainwall and storefront glazing systems * Fall arrest, boom & scissor lift , and WHMIS certifications are essential. * 5+ years of experience in commercial glass installation. * Familiarity with building blueprints, codes, and regulations. * Journeyman certification (preferred). * Ability to lift 70+lbs. * Reliable transportation to worksite.
