*DT Equipment Repair Inc.* is your premier Mobile Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Repair provider. We operate primarily in Western Canada & the Territories. Specializing in embedded contracts in Oil/Gas, Mining, Logging and Heavy Civil Construction. *DT Equipment Repair *is looking for qualified _*Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technicians*_ to run DT Equipment Service Trucks in *Fly In/Fly Out* positions in Central, Western & Northern Canada. * Full-time permanent HD Field Mechanic to run a Service Truck * Minimum of 5 yrs experience * Must be physically fit and highly motivated with a solid work ethic * Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening mandatory * Pre-employment background check *Overall Responsibilities:* * Safe and ethical operation of DT Equipment Repair Inc. Service Truck * Perform preventative maintenance * Diagnose and repair equipment deficiencies * Communicate with site management to coordinate maintenance priorities * Maintain maintenance records * Promote safety awareness by ensuring compliance of corporate health and safety policies and procedures *Qualifications:* * Heavy Equipment Technician (Off Road) ? Journeyman (Red Seal) Certified * Minimum 5 years of experience working with CAT, John Deere and Hitachi equipment * Minimum 5 years in Heavy Civil Earthworks Construction and/or Mining * Have the ability to deal with large volumes of work and demanding situations * Energy Safety Canada CSO training * Willingness to work in Fort McMurray or NWT and working a rotational schedule * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Valid Class 5 operators license (candidate to provide current abstract) * Standard First Aid certification is required * Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection and Ariel Work Platform certifications are required *Work Schedules and Compensation Package:* * Fly in/Fly out positions - Fort McMurray/NWT's * 21/21work schedule * 14/14 work schedule * 18/10 work schedule * 14/7 work schedule * TAX-FREE LOA or Camp provided * TAX-FREE Travel Allowance provided * 4% Vacation Pay * 12-hour rotating day/night shifts * Group Benefits Plan with Empire Life * 4% RRSP Matching with SunLife * Cell Phone Allowance * Boot Allowance * Tool Allowance * Performance Premium * Referral Bonus * Retention Bonus * Annual Christmas Bonus Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $52.50-$60.00 per hour Expected hours: 84 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * RRSP match * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 12 hour shift * Day shift * Night shift Experience: * Heavy Equipment Repair: 5 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-10-30- LocationFort McMurray, AB
