<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>We are currently looking for "another" Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic Team. An exciting opportunity for someone who wants to set up their own private practice within a busy clinic. The NP will work to full scope as an autonomous primary care provider with the emphasis on providing evidence-based care and guidance for their patients, as well as working in collaboration with our Naturopathic doctors and I.V. nursing Team.</strong></p><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:</strong></p><p>*<strong>Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills in assessment, diagnosis and patient care management</strong></p><p>*<strong>Self-motivated, enthusiastic and has integrity in various patient care scenarios</strong></p><p>*<strong>Has excellent leadership, and demonstrates organizational and communication skills and attention to detail</strong></p><p>*<strong>Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively, and be flexible within active work environment</strong></p><p>*<strong>Expertise in developing and maintaining excellent working relations with members of our Team</strong></p><p><strong><span class="long-word">QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:</span></strong></p><p>*<strong>Current registration with CARNA and registered on the CARNA Nurse practitioner roster (must provide proof of registration for all-ages). Must clearly identify any work restrictions on their NP license.</strong></p><p>*<strong>Has successfully met CARNA requirements and is authorized under federal legislation to prescribe Controlled Drugs and Substances.</strong></p><p><strong>*3-5 years nursing experience</strong></p><p><strong>*Knowledge of chronic disease management principles and processes using current best practice medical guidelines</strong></p><p><strong>*Knowledge of working with EMRs is an asset, especially the Accuro EMR</strong></p><p><strong>JOB TYPE</strong>:</p><p>*<strong>Part time to Full time</strong></p><p><strong>COMPENSATION:</strong></p><p>*<strong>This is an independent contractor (associate), income split position; Gross monthly income, if working fulltime can reach over $25,000 /month.</strong></p><p><strong>SCHEDULE:</strong></p><p><strong>*Predetermined days per week</strong></p><p><strong>*Monday to Friday</strong></p></div>Company Description<div>The Optimum Wellness Integrated Clinic has served patients from all over Western Canada for almost 25 years.
