<br><p>We are currently seeking an individual with customer service experience, preferably in the floral industry, or a strong passion for flowers. <br><br><strong>Responsabilities:</strong><br><br>The primary responsibilities include handling incoming orders via phone and entering them into our point-of-sale system, addressing inquiries about our products and website, processing web orders, assisting walk-in clients with selecting and assembling bouquets, as well as working with the flowers themselves. Crucially, we are looking for someone who can collaborate effectively within a team and provide friendly service to our valued clientele.</p><p><strong>Job Type / Category:</strong></p><p>We are offering a permanent part-time position, requiring 18-24 hours per week, for a general florist role. The ability to work Saturdays is essential.</p><p><strong>Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bilingual proficiency</li><li>Strong computer skills, particularly in data entry</li><li>Sales experience and comfort with handling phone inquiries</li><li>Preferably, some background in the floral industry</li></ul> <br> <br><p>We are prepared to provide training related to flowers and floral arrangements. We are seeking individuals who are passionate and eager to work in our industry.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Ultimately, we would like individuals who aspire to achieve this level of general proficiency</strong></span></p><ol><li><p><strong>Knowledge of Flowers and Plants:</strong> Mastering different varieties of flowers, their characteristics, blooming seasons, and proper care.</p></li><li><p><strong>Creativity and Aesthetic Sense:</strong> Being able to create aesthetically pleasing and harmonious floral arrangements.</p></li><li><p><strong>Inventory Management:</strong> Knowing how to manage the inventory of flowers and plants to ensure product availability and freshness.</p></li><li><p><strong>Customer Service:</strong> Being able to advise and guide customers in choosing their flowers based on their needs and the occasion.</p></li><li><p><strong>Business Skills</strong>: Being able to handle financial transactions, issue invoices, and process payments.</p></li><li><p><strong>Organizational Skills:</strong> Maintaining the workplace clean, orderly, and well-arranged to ensure an efficient and pleasant working environment.</p></li><li><p><strong>Stress Resistance:</strong> Being able to work effectively under pressure, especially during busy periods like holidays or special occasions.</p></li><li><p><strong>Trend Awareness:</strong> Staying updated on the latest trends in floral design and being able to incorporate them into creations.</p></li><li><p><strong>Business Acumen:</strong> Understanding basic principles of running a business, including cost management, pricing, and profitability.</p></li><li><p><strong>Communication:</strong> Being able to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members.</p></li><li><p><strong>Adaptability:</strong> Being able to adapt to changing customer demands and preferences.</p></li><li><p><strong>Maintaining Freshness:</strong> Knowing how to extend the lifespan of flowers to ensure they stay fresh and beautiful for the customer.</p></li></ol><strong>ASSETS:</strong><br><br>Floral Design Skills: Possessing skills in designing and assembling floral compositions, whether it's bouquets, centerpieces, or special arrangements.<br><br>Allergy Sensitivity: Being aware of potential allergies of customers and taking appropriate precautions when handling flowers.- LocationSaint-Laurent, QC
