*Job Overview* We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations. The Delivery Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including trucks and vans, and may also be involved in loading and unloading freight. *Duties* * Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Assist with automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. * Operate forklifts and heavy equipment when required for loading/unloading operations. *Qualifications* * Valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) preferred but not required for all positions. * Experience in commercial driving or freight transportation is a plus. * Familiarity with automotive repair principles is advantageous. * Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely is desirable. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing deliveries. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. * Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as necessary during loading/unloading tasks. * A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of the job.
