*Overview* Job Description - Millwright We are a privately owned Canadian company operating in Coquitlam for more then 50 years. We specialize in Plastic Extrusions. Responsibilities: * To ensure operations of, production equipment as well as the building infrastructure through maintenance activities. * Troubleshoot/ assist diagnose equipment failure and carry out repairs. * Liaison with other specialty trades people. * * *Specific Tasks: * * Conduct regular preventative scheduled maintenance production equipment to ensure continuous operation and reduce downtime. * Routine maintenance on production equipment. * Repair, down equipment to minimize interruption to production. * Making recommendation and instituting improvements in safety / efficiency on production equipment. * Monitoring operations of production equipment, building air and water systems, etc. to ensure safe, reliable operation. * Assist in the install of new equipment as required. * Ensuring all safety guards and devices are in place throughout the plant. * Other duties as assigned. *Qualifications:* * Previous maintenance experience in a production environment or equivalent. * Knowledge of plastic processing preferred * Good command of English language and communication skills.
