Alternative Landscaping is seeking a *Retail Sales Manager* to oversee the day-to-day activities in our Garden Centre. The Successful candidate is a proactive, confident self-starter that thrives in competitive situations. This person is driven to be accurate and will demonstrate their knowledge when given opportunities to correct others. If you are an enthusiastic, detail-oriented team leader with a passion for all things ?garden? and can coordinate customer service and merchandise, supervise front end staff, and develop retail sales; we would love to meet you!

What you bring to the team:
* Retail experience including planning, financial and marketing responsibilities.
* Strong inter-personal organizational, time management, problem solving and analytical skills.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Quickbooks and POS Systems.
* A Business Administration Diploma or BBA degree is preferred; however, equivalent experience will be considered.
* 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in a busy retail store is essential.
* Valid Driver?s License
* Excellent customer service skills
* Inventory management experience is an asset.
* Must be able to safely lift and move heavy objects.
* Nursery, Greenhouse, Landscape, Barkman/Expocrete experience is considered an asset.
* Management of retail staff
* Strong math skills
* Scheduling, recruiting, and retaining quality staff
