Welcome to our 3-year young Independently owned, fear free centred small animal practice on beautiful southern Vancouver Island! Located in the idyllic semi-rural Cowichan valley but still close to emergency clinics and awesome specialists. Perfect for outdoor activity junkies- think year-round hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, scuba diving, sailing, warm winters, all in a region known as Canada?s Provence. Inside you?ll find a bright and cheery (and sometimes downright goofy) atmosphere, digital X-ray / dental X-ray, new esoate ultrasound, Zoetis in house lab, electric gurney, underwater treadmill, cloud-based software, and top of the line monitoring equipment. The crew: A superhero team of RVT?s (6!), receptionists and vet assistants totalling 3-4 support staff per vet, plus dedicated management. We all take pride in our stellar clinic culture, and common vision for exceptional patient care and dedication to progressive medicine. What makes us so special: · We make our own rules, and everyone has a voice. · We go the extra mile to creatively provide accessible care, so euthanasia is not the only solution for uninsured / underprivileged patients. · Fear free is something we live by. · We support each other, mentor each other, laugh, cry (and hike!) together. · We don?t work weekends unless we are helping each other out with our pets, or volunteering at a pro bono day clinic for our local rescues.
