*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Dental Hygienist must be certified in Guided Biofilm Therapy. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort during visits. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education, preventative care, and teamwork within a dynamic dental environment. *Duties* * Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Assist in the identification of periodontal disease and other oral health issues. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software. * Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. * Provide support in pediatric, orthodontic, and general dentistry procedures as required. *Skills* * Proficient in dental assisting techniques and practices. * Strong customer service skills to foster positive patient relationships. * Familiarity with Akitu One or similar dental practice management software. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. * Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in Guided Biofilm Therapy * Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
