*Welder Helper* Scovan is looking for a Welder Helper to join our team in Ponoka immediately! This position offers stable, full-time hours with an opportunity to grow and learn from our hard-working team! *Responsibilities* * Assist welders in setting up and preparing materials for welding. * Transport and handle materials, tools, and equipment. * Clean and prepare workpieces for welding. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment to prevent accidents. * Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and tools. * Support welders in positioning and securing workpieces. * Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy. * Follow instructions from welders and supervisors to ensure project specifications are met. * Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. *Qualifications * * Basic understanding of welding processes and techniques. * Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective gear. * Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy. * Excellent teamwork and communication skills. * Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. * Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required. *Details:* * Full-time hours - Typical shift is Monday to Friday, 10 hour days. * Shifts may vary based on workload requirements. * All work is completed in our industrial module yard in Ponoka, Alberta.
