We are currently seeking a *Lawyer with a minimum of 10 year call* who is eager to continue growing and developing their skills within a supportive hybrid work environment. Responsibilities and Duties: * Manage all aspects of personal injury claims, from intake to resolution. * Proactively handle assigned files, including drafting pleadings, attending discoveries, and preparing for mediation and trial. * Collaborate effectively within a team structure, ensuring clear communication with team members and clients. * Identify files ready for settlement discussions and determine suitability for settlement conferences. * Review, analyze, and assess incoming medical documentation and other relevant materials. * Track deadlines and timelines to ensure timely progression of cases. * Communicate with clients to ensure all documents are organized and the file is current. * Oversee the management of files, delegating tasks to articling students, legal assistants, and production coordinators as needed. * Prepare clients for and attend examinations for discovery, motions, mediations, etc. * Draft comprehensive settlement proposals and actively engage in negotiation processes. * Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Lawyer with *10+ years of experience* in Civil Litigation, with a strong focus on Personal Injury Law. * Valid license to practice in British Columbia. * Extensive experience in managing personal injury and other litigation files. * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
