*Job Summary* We are seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in automotive repair and maintenance. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn the ins and outs of the trade. *Responsibilities* - Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles - Learn to use hand tools and power tools effectively - Assemble and disassemble vehicle components under supervision - Study and interpret schematics and technical manuals - Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles - Support with heavy lifting when required - Provide excellent customer service during interactions *Experience* Required: - Interest in mechanics and automotive repair - Ability to work well in a team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Extended health care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Licence/Certification: * Driver's License (required) * Journeyman (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-10-21- LocationThunder Bay, ON
