Read on!Position:Outside Sales Representative (Contract)Job Type: Full Time Contract (12 months). PLEASE NOTE: due to contract, this role does not include Health & Dental benefits.Location and Territory: St. Catherines, Welland, Hamilton (travel to other areas will be assigned when required)Schedule:Monday-FridayLanguage Requirements:EnglishAnnual Salary: $50,000 - $54,100Purpose:To cover designated territory developing potential customers and maintaining existing customers at projected sales levels.Job Responsibilities:Time and territory management to accomplish daily, weekly and monthly sales goals including defining market demographics, competitor analysis, prospecting new business and existing account knowledge.Participate with UNFI Sales team to effectively maintain existing accounts, develop new business and address operational issues.Provide accurate and complete sales reports to Sales Manager in a timely manner.Submit appropriate and timely account information for all new and existing accounts for input into the UNFI information system.Participate in continuing education programs regarding company products, services and industry compliances.Document and resolve customer complaints.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education/Certification:Post-Secondary education and/or equivalent related experience and training.Valid G-Class driver s license or equivalentRequired Knowledge:Knowledge of SalesUnderstanding of related computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint)Experience:Previous sales experience preferred.Previous experience in organic/natural Consumer Packaged Goods sales is an assetComputer experience preferred (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)Skills & Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsGoal oriented self-starter with high energy level and competitive spiritAbility to travel extensively throughout assigned areaWhat we offer:Compensation includes a salary range of $50,000 - $54,100.Car allowance provided!Quarterly Sales Bonus Program offeredPaid vacation and sick days!Employee discount program on natural and organic foods!Friendly and helpful team!Our Commitment:UNFI believes in a diverse and accommodating workplace.
