*KMC specializes in high-performance alloys and friction materials from raw materials to finished products under one roof in Orillia, Canada. Manufacturing unique heat resistant alloys and high nickel/chrome alloys primarily for the petrochemical industries.* *Major Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:* · Perform all electrical repairs; inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair. · Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand or power tools. · Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. · Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors. · Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures using hand tools or power tools. · Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. · Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes. · Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. · Perform other duties as required. *Education, Experience & Qualifications:* · Minimum Grade 12 education required. · Electrician?s license to meet governmental regulations. · Health and Safety (WHMIS, Crane Operating, Working at Heights, Confirmed Space, etc.) Training Certificates considered an asset. · Minimum of 3 years? experience working in a maintenance department within a manufacturing environment. · Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment, including measuring devices and power tools, and testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps. · Demonstrated ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, and make necessary repairs. · Demonstrated ability to predict when improvements are required on routine or normal procedures due to production needs or demands. · Demonstrated ability reading and interpreting Electrical drawings, Maintenance Manuals and Bills of Material for any machine or equipment. *We thank all applicants for their interest in Kubota Materials, however only those under consideration will be contacted.* Kubota Materials Canada Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
