If you share our values and would like to work with skilled professionals, Armour is presently seeking a *Laundry Supervisor at The Barrington Hotel*. Reporting to the Laundry Manager, this individual will be responsible for leading a shift while supporting laundry operations and staff daily. *As Laundry Supervisor, you?ll get to:* · Assist in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers daily. · Manage laundry procedures and required flow of linen · Ensure quality controls are in place for all linen processes · Understand daily targets and effectively communicate these to the team. · Support the laundry manager with ensuring accurate staffing levels based on workload. · Communicating the importance of safety procedures, detailing procedure codes, ensuring employee understanding of safety codes, monitoring processes and procedures related to safety. · Comprehend budgets and payroll progress reports as needed to assist in the financial management of department. · Coach and mentor employees to reach their full potential. · Ensures consistent workflow to minimize peaks and valleys in production. · Bring issues to the attention of the department manager and Human Resources as necessary. · Assist in ordering and managing necessary supplies.
