*Job Overview:* We are seeking a skilled G2 Industrial Technician with experience in make-up air systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial HVAC systems, with some focus on make-up air units. The technician will ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. *Key Responsibilities:* * Install, maintain, and repair make-up air systems and related HVAC equipment. * Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with industrial HVAC systems, providing effective solutions. * Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and compliance. * Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency. * Collaborate with engineering and project management teams on system design and improvements. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. * Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards, ensuring a safe working environment. * Provide training and support to junior technicians and apprentices as needed. * Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to make-up air systems. *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred. * Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial HVAC systems, with a focus on make-up air systems. * Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and controls. * Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC installations. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Valid driver?s license and willingness to travel as required. *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. * Comfortable working at heights and in various environmental conditions. * Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug screening. *Schedule Requirements:* * 5/2 schedule at mine located in Gogama, Ontario * 10 - 12 hour shifts Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company pension * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Tuition reimbursement Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: On the road- LocationGreater Sudbury, ON
