Job details
North Caribou Lake is seeking a full time High School Principal for 2024/25 school year.<p>Responsibilities<p>The Principal is responsible for student welfare and the management of the educational system. The Principal will provide leadership, coordination of educational planning and development, and maintain management and discipline according to the schools policy. Under the direction and supervision of the Local Education Authority.<p>Qualifications<p>Experience in First Nations administration is considered an asset<p>Experience working with First Nation communities is an asset<p>Must have Masters Degree<p>Principal qualification PQP1, PQP2<p>Ontario College of Teachers certification<p>Demonstrates commitment to Indigenous student success, parent and community involvement<p>Demonstrates understanding of Indigenous communities with protocols, history, culture, and contemporary issues<p>Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise<p>Excellent organizational skills<p>Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks<p>Familiarity with technology to support student learning an asset.<p>Salary range<p>Comprehensive Benefit Package<p>Provide three references and agree to contact the references<p>Applications<p>Send resume to sjohnson@northcariboulakeschool.ca<p>- LocationWeagamow Lake, ON
