Position: Casual Facility Operators at Prairie South Schools (North Schools)<p>Date Posted: August 12, 2024<p>Closing Date: Suitable Pool<p>CUPE Posting Number: 47-2024-2025<p>Position Type: Casual<p>Start Date: As needed<p>Hours of Work: As needed<p><p><p>Duties: The Facility Operator cleans and maintains the interior and exterior of school division buildings and their surrounding grounds and assists the Head Facility Operator.<p>Education & Qualifications: <p><p> A minimum of a Grade 10 diploma from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education or General Educational Development (GED)<p> A valid Fireman?s certificate if required by legislation<p> Six (6) months experience in a cleaning/caretaking position<p> A working knowledge of computers<p> A valid Class 5 driver?s license<p><p> <p>Physical Requirements: Good physical condition with the ability to do heavy work is required (i.e., exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects). The ability to work off lifts, in crawlspaces, attics, roofs, and ladders.<p>Wage & Benefits: In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
