*Lakehead Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic* _The Lakehead Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic is a primary health care delivery model in Ontario in which nurse practitioners are the lead providers of primary health care. The clinic is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care._ _The clinic provides comprehensive, accessible, and coordinated family health care services to residents of Thunder Bay. A collaborative practice approach is used which includes registered nurses, dietitian, and other health care professionals._ The Lakehead Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic is now seeking interested applicants for the following position: *Medical Secretary / Receptionist* ? 1 Part Time, contract _Closing Date ? October 23, 2024_ Schedule: Tues/Wed/Thurs 12:30-8:30pm, some Saturdays *Qualifications:* · Graduate of a Medical Secretarial Program or related administration course · Relevant working experience in a medical or administrative capacity · Proficiency in computer applications: Windows, Microsoft Office, e-mail · Experience working with EMR data and administration a definite asset · Exceptional organizational skills · Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality · High degree of accuracy and attention to detail · Ability to work independently and with a team · Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and be flexible in a very active work environment If interested, please e-mail your resume and cover letter before 4:00pm on the specified closing date.
