The Burnaby<p>School District is accepting applications for the position of:<p>CASUAL FOOD SERVICE WORKER The (Casual) Food Service Worker serves and<p>assembles meals for students in accordance with a pre-established menu by performing<p>duties such as portioning prepared food; preparing simple desserts and<p>sandwiches; washing and cutting fruits and vegetables; and setting out<p>beverages. This position also organizes<p>food service area by performing duties such as starting hot tables, laying out<p>eating utensils and setting up bussing stations.<p>This position requires the completion of Grade 12<p>plus one year of experience in a high-volume food preparation and serving<p>setting.A valid Food Safe Certificate is required for this<p>position.This position pays $31.60/hour.This position is casual,<p>on-call and works in schools varied hours between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. You must be available to work during these<p>hours on a consistent, ongoing basis to apply for this position.
