*Job Overview*
The General Manager (GM) at Doiron Sports Excellence is responsible for the P & L with strong financial acumen, as well as creating and refining systems & processes to optimize daily operations. The GM will oversee all store operations, lead by example, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional customer service.
*Finance*
* Budgeting, financial planning, and profit management.
*Objective*
* Develop annual budget and manage the business according to monthly, quarterly results to achieve cash flow, revenue and profitability targets.
*Key Deliverables*
* Drive revenue, profit and growth while optimizing operating costs. Includes inventory optimization, cash flow management and operational efficiency.
* Track: Sales, Inventory, Foot Traffic, Conversion, Customer Retention, Profit Margins, and Basket Size.
* Develops optimal pricing strategies and sales forecasting. Design systems to track financial performance, including sales targets, cost control measures, and profitability analyses.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Ability to create realistic budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial stability and growth. Ensure Month, Quarter and Year- end financial reporting is completed.
* Financial Analysis: Proficiency in analysing financial statements and identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

* Manage employee payroll and benefits program.
* Recruit, hire, train and ongoing employee performance management that reflect the culture of Doiron Sports Excellence.
* Lead and mentor employees & teams.
*Organizational Improvement*

* Create and improve operational processes & systems for employee performance, customer service, sales, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
*Key Deliverables*
* Create and refine store operational processes to maximize efficiency, from staff training & scheduling, customer feedback, inventory management and marketing campaigns.
* Develop clear guidelines for daily operations, ensuring that all systems, such as POS operations, compliance, and maintenance, are functioning smoothly and meeting company standards.
* Oversee inventory processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely reordering, and optimizing space for best-selling products.
* Store equipment, technology, and facilities are properly maintained and meet safety and operational compliance standards. Ensure all systems are fully documented, communicated to the team, and enforced consistently to maintain high operational standards.
*Customer Acquisition, Experience & Growth*

* Measure and manage finding, winning and growing customers and ensuring an exceptional in store experience.

* Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Develop and implement ongoing training programs to enhance staff knowledge and align team goals with the store?s mission.

* Design and implement customer service processes that ensure each customer feels valued and receives personalized attention.
* Project Management of initiatives designed to strengthen community engagement.
