*Job posting - Program Coordinator* Are you looking for a job with a flexible schedule that gives you a real purpose and a rewarding connection to the community? The Lethbridge Métis are looking for a part time Program Coordinator to help our growing business operations. This position will work closely with the Elected Leadership of the Lethbridge & Area Métis Association to meet organisational goals and objectives. Interacting with many different types of people this role will require someone who is outgoing, personable and possesses the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate and facilitate cultural programming sessions, including initiating partnership conversations with Métis Knowledge Keepers in our community and building relationships with key individuals and organisations. The Lethbridge & Area Métis are a dedicated team, and we are looking for the right person to join us. *Other duties include: * * Adhering to established policies and procedures * Managing general activities related to operations and programming * Collaborating with the elected Council and office staff to meet organisational goals and objectives * Attending meetings with community partners * Attend and help coordinate events and programming * Digital communication through our social media and newsletter * Additional duties assigned by the Council *Qualifications* * Bachelor of Management or Business Administration preferred, other equivalent education will be considered * 1-3 Years of experience in a similar role * Knowledge of Métis culture, politics and history (Preferred) * Clean criminal record check *Hours of work* 0.5 FTE (18.75 hours per week) While the schedule is flexible, some evenings and weekends will be required.
