Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Assess clients' cognitive, social and emotional barriers to establish adaptation goals. Assist students to develop life skills. Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs. Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on special needs of client to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Certificate. Behaviour management Certification. Intensive behavioural intervention Certification. CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Target audience: Children. Persons who are intellectually impaired. Persons with learning disabilities. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Area of work experience: Community service organization. Experience with special needs children: Children with behavioural issues. Medical specialization: Behavioural science. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail.
