Mary Honeywell Elementary School opened in 1989 serving a triple-track junior kindergarten to grade 6 student population. Our school hosts four specialized system classes, welcoming students with autism from a number of schools across our District. Application to these classes is a centralized District process. Approximately 30% of our students are in the English program and 60% are in French Immersion. <p> Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Boards (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school, and the District, by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully, with a human rights and equity perspective, to foster student success, achievement and well-being. Eligibility List All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications.
