*Job Overview* We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets. *Responsibilities* - Provide exceptional customer service to all clients - Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs - Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits - Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately - Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor - Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy *Qualifications* - Previous experience in retail sales is preferred - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively - Proficiency in time management to prioritize tasks efficiently - Bilingual proficiency is a plus - Familiarity with sales techniques and product knowledge - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Excellent phone etiquette skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $16.88-$24.64 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Paid time off * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Shift: * 8 hour shift Work days: * Monday to Friday Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * sales: 2 years (preferred) * Customer service: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationParksville, BC
