DAY/HOURS: Monday- Friday
*ASSETS:*
*MOA Certification or demonstrated practical experience.*
Minimum 1-year experience preferred.
Must be able to handle a fast-paced office and patient environment with many competing demands:
* Ability to work independently or as a team.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
* Superior communication skills; Command of the English language both oral and written.
* Experience with booking and direct billing software i.e., Jane App and POS systems.
* 60+ WPM
* High proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and CRM systems e.g. Jane App Software for Health-Care Practitioners.
* Exceptional time management and prioritization skills; Ability to organize your own time/work independently.
* May be required to cover additional shifts or work over-time occasionally.
*GENERAL DUTIES*
* Receiving appointment request via in-person, phone, email, Jane, website, and scheduling accordingly.
* Checking in patients and data entry.
* General exam room and IV suite cleaning/restocking.
* Prepare and stock medical/office supplies.
* Confirming patient's appointments.
* Documenting/submitting patient referrals and prescriptions.
* Inventory control management e.g., Dispensary, IV suite/prep room.
* COVID-19 considerations: RLNC follows WorkSafe protocols for COVID safety.
* Clean, disinfect and tidy all areas of the Centre throughout the day including reception/waiting area, reception, bathrooms, staff room, etc.
*FRONT RECEPTION*
* Greet patients by name in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner.
* Ensure that a patient?s overall visit is comfortable and exceptional care is provided.
* Follow up with patients with any appointments and doctor communication about test results in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
* Follow RLNC policies and procedures for all administration and medical record related tasks.
* Upon payment, confirm next appointment has been booked.
* Follow all COVID-19 protocols for patient and Centre requirements.
*PHONE PROTOCOLS*
* Answer phone professionally and promptly.
* Assist callers with inquiry questions politely and patiently.
* Check voice mail as required to ensure calls are returned promptly.
*PATIENT SCHEDULING and Medical Records Management*
* Schedule patients using Jane APP scheduling software.
* Ensure each day is balanced with appropriate time allotted for the patient?s appointment category and Physician/practitioners booking preferences.
* Contact all RMT patients to confirm appointments daily.
* Enter all patient data accurately and completely using Patient Intake Forms, Requisitions and Final Reports for Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, Prescriptions, Referral Correspondence, etc.
*PHYSICIAN SUPPORT SERVICES*
* Clean and disinfect all treatment rooms and IV suite before and after each appointment.
* Stock the treatment rooms and IV suite with supplies daily in the specified locations.
* Clean, pack, and sterilize (using autoclave) instruments in preparation for appointments.
* Accompany patients into exam rooms and prepare patients for any exams or procedures under the supervision of the physician.
* As required prepare necessary paperwork in advance.
* Monitor medical and supplement supplies weekly, order and track all packages and apply inventory control methods to ordering, receiving, and documenting.
