Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery. Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian. May perform a variety of office management and clerical duties. Provide wound and bandage care. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Registration by a provincial or territorial, or regional association as Registered Animal Health Technologist, Registered Veterinary Technician. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Experience: Experience an asset.
