Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Clean. Work setting: Warehouse. Inspection. Tasks: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products. Ship orders. Pick orders and stock. Pack and unpack goods. Sort, crate and stack goods. Install, lash and secure goods. Transport and distribute materials and goods. Organize and maintain inventory. Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems. Maintain inventory of equipment. Check products for quality and other specifications. Arrange for shipping, receiving and storage. Order picking. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory control software. Equipment and machinery experience: Forklift. Vehicle and equipment experience: Dollies and hand trucks. Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Service experience: Delivery. Area of specialization: Shipping and receiving. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks.
