Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Promote sales to existing clients. Identify and solicit potential clients. Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service. Deliver sales presentations. Prepare and administer sales contracts. Use sales forecasting software. Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Resolve product and service related problems. Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Transformers. Sales experience: Electrical and electronic equipment. Manufacturing and industrial products. Marketing. Experience: 5 years or more.
