StretchLab is seeking highly motivated *kinesiology students/graduates* to join our Flexologist team About the role As a *Flexologist*, you will provide one-on-one assisted stretches for our clients. This is an amazing opportunity to put your Kinesiology knowledge into practice while gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness and wellness industry by storm. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minute) * Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions * Ensure safety of clients with proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules * Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations * Handle member concerns when applicable * Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed * Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele * Help with maintaining strong social media presence to client membership and retention * Clean and maintain all equipment and work area to ensure it is available for client use at any given time / to COVID-19 cleaning procedures About you You love fitness, health, and well-being with a passion for stretching, mobility and flexibility. Qualifications * Preferred backgrounds: Personal Trainer Physical Therapist / Athletic Therapist / Kinesiologist / Massage Therapist / Pilates, Yoga, Dance Instructor, certified / licensed healthcare worker. * Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with client * Fitness or related certification required * Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people * Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy * Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve their goals * Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies * Must be available to go through our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training As part of the application process a background check will be completed.
