The Portfolio Research & Analytics team develops a suite of sophisticated portfolio management and analytics tools. The team is directly integrated into the investment management team and closely collaborates with the end users to develop the tools. These web applications are used daily in the management and monitoring of billions of dollars in assets.As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing portfolio management applications, directly incorporating feedback from the portfolio management teams. This role leans towards front-end development with increasing exposure to back-end development over time. Our team is passionate about growth, innovation, and collaboration. As part of the team, you will be developing a robust platform with cutting-edge cloud technology.Responsibilities:? Develop full stack web applications on the Portfolio Analytics platform ? Collaborate directly with the portfolio management teams throughout the entire project cycle? Translate end-user requirements into technical requirements, consider edge cases? Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners ? Own the web applications you develop, providing support and addressing issues raised by users? Maintain high coding standards, proactively improve existing codeJob Requirements? Previous experience with the following technologies:JavaScript (React)PythonSQL (PostgreSQL or any major RDBMS)? Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a double degree in Business/Computer Science? Interest in expanding financial knowledgeAdditional Qualities We Consider an Asset: ? Experience with Linux-based environments? Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate?
