\*Overview\* We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about electrical work and are looking to gain hands-on experience in the field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting with various electrical tasks while learning the trade. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment. \*Duties\* - Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand wiring layouts and electrical systems. - Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. - Help troubleshoot electrical issues and perform basic repairs under supervision. - Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. - Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites. \*Skills\* - Basic understanding of electrical principles and terminology. - Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is advantageous. - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work. - Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. - Willingness to learn from experienced industrial electricians. - Good problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team. . Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Pay: $20.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 44 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Electrical experience: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Class G Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationOwen Sound, ON
