Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform preventive maintenance. Take vehicle for servicing. Perform minor service and maintenance to vehicles. Manage difficult situations with customers. Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Follow emergency and safety procedures. Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Load and unload vehicles using forklift or dolly. Type of trucking and equipment: Tow truck. Vehicle and equipment experience: Towing tractors. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel for extended periods. Willing to travel overnight. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Hardworking.
